My name is Gina Christophersen

But Noel is probably easier to pronounce.

Gina grew up in the Bay Area and attended California State University, East Bay where she received a B.F.A. in Illustration in 2024. She carries fond memories of being immersed in nature from camping trips and boat rides with her dad; the beginnings of her connection to the natural world. While starting her career in veterinary medicine, the mental toll of the work caused her to turn back to her creativity as a way to continue to share her compassion for animals with others. Her work explores the unique features of the creatures around her as she displays local wildlife and ecology to inspire appreciation and care for the environment. From traditional to digital painting, she loves to work on large-scale pieces where the viewer can be immersed in the world and be curious to explore their surroundings.
